What is Maestro Mentorship?

Maestro Mentorship is a service that aims to connect music educators with more, higher-paying students. We do this predominantly by elevating your online and business presence. This includes building a professional website with billing and scheduling features, creating an impeccable Google Ads and Google Business profile, and developing a strong social media presence on all major platforms.

How much does Maestro Mentorship cost?

Maestro Mentorship is 100% free to join. We assume all costs including a professionally designed website, hosting, biography writing, business consulting, video editing, etc. In return for our services, we take a small referral fee of 15% for all lessons booked through your custom website.

For example, a teacher who typically charges $150 per month can potentially increase their rate to $200 when working with us. We give $170 of that back to the teacher—they make more money while we make enough to cover our operating expenses. Best of all, teachers who acquire and retain larger studios are incentivized with an even smaller referral fee.

AM I OBLIGATED TO USE ALL OF MAESTRO MENTORSHIP’S SERVICES?

No. While we encourage you to take advantage of all the services we offer, your only obligation is allowing us to build your website.

How is Maestro Mentorship different than TakeLessons, Musika, Thumbtack, etc?

At Maestro Mentorship, our business model is entirely different. We’re not an aggregator of teachers and are invested in the musicians we work with. We put our clients first and only work with one teacher at a time with the purpose of helping their studios thrive. Teachers who work with Maestro Mentorship stand out far and above the so-called competition found on lead generating sites.

What else does Maestro Mentorship provide?

We provide studio policies, recital program templates, and announcement and tuition increase letters. We implement strategies that help you appeal to the growing adult market as well as other markets that provide more flexible scheduling. We’re also your personal assistant at a student’s initial point of contact to ensure a professional and elevated first impression.

Do my current students have to work through Maestro Mentorship?

No. While we’re confident they’d love the convenience of scheduling and paying for lessons online, Maestro Mentorship only charges their referral fee for students found through their initiatives.
